Treasures at Home

Wow!!! it has been quite a while since i wrote something on this blog.

Life has been quite changing for me, i had to move back from Bangkok to Chiang Mai(my home town).
I had to learn a new work, which is totally in a different field from where i have been from almost 7 years.
My salary drop more that 50%.

But on the other side i got more free time, i have time to exercise for around 2 hours a day.
I have better night sleep, better weather (i have not been in an air conditioned room since i came back here) So life outside the capital city is more enjoyable in many ways.

I even had time to take pictures around the house. Here are some photos from the "Garlic Vine" tree in the area of my house. It's has many flower blossom for this year. Since this year is quite cold.

Life as before a Bungy Jump

I have promised myself to write this blog for at least once a week and sadly I couldn’t fulfill it. One thing that I have leant from the Land Mark Education is I must have what is called “Integrity” It was new word for me.
In order to have a good life you have to learn how to “Respect” yourself first.
The past couple of weeks were like entering a “Horror house” for me.  I was so easily shaken, while I should have been the one standing for everyone I love.
It’s like when you are about to do a “Bungy Jump” it’s so scary when you “About to Jump!!!” I felt like this for the past weeks and it reflected as I frequently called friends or demanding summaries or answers at work, not respecting that everyone also faces challenges in life.
Land Mark Education teaches you to go a head, do not fear failure or rejections. Life is a game just plays it.  I tried but sometimes we need others to help us organize our minds. Thank you for my friend that I finally could organize my mind.
Thanks to GOD to gave my support through the upper room’s daily devotions. (www.upperroom.org)

Life Moves on We also have to.
What I learnt is “Fear is yourself” and “How important Friends are”
Love you All,

So Now..........

I feel very confuse today. I became easy temperamental and angry. I became a bomb in the meeting room. My heart beats very fast and my head feels pressure.

I lost my smile, I lost joy of work, I lost my self-respect.

I lost Who i am,

May be I'm not good in handling pressure or I'm not mature enough?

I am stuck and all written above is my own voice speaking to me.

Me alone.

Like this picture of the normal muddy traffic in the "Big Mango".

When you are suck in your car all alone with yourself.
You listen to the little voices from the radio, you think to yourself and then you get moody,
"Why you are still stuck and not moving at all"?

Life is sometimes like that you get stuck and you get moody when you can do much about the situation that hits you.

But when you passed it (I reached home & crossed the bridge)
the traffic was still busy but i see it is beautiful now.
So We always see things different when we passed or overcame them.
So now......

Inhale....Exhale....Let it go....Slow....Slow......

So inviting!!! Thai Bed

Last Sunday i went to visit my aunt, to my surprise (I didn't visit her for a long long time, Shame on me).
Her house was renovated! Wow! The house looks great. The best spot of the house that i found was this Thai Style bed with a Thai style pillow (and a money siting on it).

It looks so relaxing and invites you to have a day nap on it.

Happy Monday!!! Have nice week.

Bangkok International Fashion Fair 2009

On Friday 14 August 2009, I attended the BIFF&BIL 2009 (Bangkok International Fashion Fair & Bangkok International Leather 2009) the propose of the visit was to start learning the fashion industry in order to prepare myself to be useful for my sister's shop.

(In Front of the Fair's entrance)

It was very interesting and fun for me, becuase i didn't have much knowleagde and experience in the industry.

One of the highlights of my trip was the fashion show! Honestly i never dream myself sitting besides a fashion runway and Oh! Wow it was fun.

(Main stage Fashion Show)

(A model presenting the "Resort Wear" Collection)

You know the cloths were good + the music was fun + it wasn't too long = Enjoyable.

One thing is the models were very so skinny, when people said you automatically gain some extra pounds when appearing on T.V you don't quite buy it(I didn't) ironically it is the real turth.

Despite the models were very skinny they look perfectly good on screen. How come such a error like this stays in cameras of the 21 century??? Or is it a thing that the camera developers ignore? Should they fix it, so modeling wouldn't be that torturing?

Anyway i liked most of the shows espeically the collection that the cloths were adapted from Southern region patterns. Amazing Amazing!!!

(Fashion adapt from local patterns from the southern region)

Also they were many thing to learn there i had some time to look around learn to know organizations and institute that support the business. Talk to current and potential suppliers.

Over all it was a fine experience. Hope to be able to come back next year.

Beauty from Boredom

As you know i have been attending the "Landmark Education" for some time now. To be honest
thier education is quite interesting in terms of way of thinking and sagacious manipulation.

Any way from my point of view all religious and philosophies all teach one commom point.

"Be concious in the present, leave the past and free the future"

"Enligthening?!?!"

Here is a picture i took from the projector during a boring meeting, suprising how something beautify could come out from some machine producing boredom.
it reminds me you can find beautiful and wisdom in our daily boring life.

Enjoy your day of life!!!

Umm....Have not written my blog for quite a while...I have very low integrity.

On Tuesday 4 August 2009, i went to have dinner with Fon at Carrefour, Ladprao branch.

Such a surprise! Standing in front was a local moving  Amusement park!!! Wow!!! you don't see things like this that often in the Big Mango's crowded city.

The park had many kinds of rides in the front and some others games such as Bingo and darts in the back of the modern trade store.

Then it came to our humble dinner as you all know i had and still have problem managing money (Now i don't carry my credit card, i leave it in the car only to refill gas).

So our dinner was a humble and classic Hot rice and fried omelet, the fun of this shop's rice+omelet is they let you choose 2-3 ingredients to go with the omelet, my choice were mince (pork), diced carrots and sliced tomatoes. See in the pictures.

Looks good? Only for 25 Bath!!
Some more close up, see the red from carrots and tomatoes.
It turned out to be a fine dinner, so the moral of this story is
"Sometimes happiness can come with the most modest things"
P.S: I love this Sony Ericsson Camera phone that Fon's Dad gave me, i think the pictures aren't bad.

Free river side Dinner

Beautiful Sky of Sunday July 12, 2009

Last Sunday July 12, 2009 one of my dear friends “Fluke” invited me to join dinner with a group of friends at a luxury river side restaurant.

I later found out that he received discount coupons by playing a game with a radio program, the discount value totaling 2,000 Thai Baht!!!

It is amazing how much you can get for free now a day, I personally presume this is a side effect from the down hill economy and sour tourism.

Princess Torrace Pub&Restautant (www.princesstorrace.com)

Ironically it’s a great opportunity for the Local Thais enjoy the places and activities that were once such crowed during the tourist season.

A very nice view.

The Food, mood, view and company was great. I really enjoy the evening.

But what most impressed me was the little boat of the “grill squid merchant” which moored with the pier. Influence by the good mood and grilled squid spell we could help ourselves to get one.

Raindow above the city

It has been raining almost every day for the past week.

Such misery for the people living in the Big Mango's dense concrete forrest and muddy traffic.

And as always nature has a way to compensate as i was stuck in the traffic i found this big rainbow arching in the sky.

Raining Holiday

It should be a lovely long holiday for most of Thai people, since the government has announce a long national holiday from Monday 6 to Wednesday 8 July 2009 combined with the Weekend in front totaling a 5 day long holiday. Hoping to help boost the depress economy.

It turns out to be quite a rainy holiday and traffic jams is a friend of rain in Bangkok even on holidays, ironically it gave “Time” for me to notice how beautiful the dark rainy sky could be.

Nature has such a amazing way to compensate.

Just to note today 2,428 Thais have been affected and 9 have passed away from H1N1 flu
and experts say that the number may double after the holiday.
May all prayers and comfort be with those who lost all around the world.

A visit to the "Home for Hadicapped Animals Foundation"

On Saturday 4 July 2009. I had a chance to visit the "Home for Hadicapped Animals foundatoin"

This Foundation has 2 main activities, first is to heal the wounded animals mainly dogs then second find a home for them.

As the foundation size expanded (the dogs kept comming) now they have 2 branches. The "Old" and main office branch is located in Nontaburi Province near Bangkok, here "Healing" is provided. I visited this branch last month. To be honest i felt quite down hearted to see the wounded and disable, but what lifted me up was the cute pig named "JUDY" they said she came in a size of "babe" in the movie and you can see how she grown.

The Wounded at the "Old" branch

The 2nd branch is located very far far away and isolated at Nakornpathom province. The reason it must be isolated is to avoid problem from dog smell and sound with neighbours, that also means you will have a hard time finding it also.

This "New" branch is very nice and wide. It looks more like a dog zoo than a lost and wounded dog foundation. There are around 800 dogs living there. They look lively and very happy.

The foundation was founded by Mrs. Pimkun and her family. They have been taken care of wounded dogs since 1982. Right now they have around 1,200 dogs and 200 cats. You can find more information at www.home4animals.org. Also some donation would be nice.
