็H5N1 vaccine injection

Beside the outbreak of Dengue Fever (that occupied most of the beds in every Chiangmai hospital) this year H5N1 has made its return to Thailand. And especially for cool climate regions as Chiangmai there has been reports of infected patients from the deadly flu. My friend in Bangkok just admitted after been diagnose H5N1 positive.

For me I went to had the vaccine injection last Saturday with my Mom and Wife. A very little needle but cause such pain followed with a day of low fever and headache cause by the live vaccine.

It is advise for most people to take the injection, last year it was given for free for people considered in the risk groups but this year the government has stocked enough for almost everyone

So if your living in Chiangmai please check at your local hospital. If its a government hospital you should be free of charge if it's a private hospital it will cost you less compare to recovery treatment after your infected.
