ป่วยเป็นโรค Bell pulsy มีอาการปวดหัวและหน้าซีกขวาชา ไปหาหมอได้ยามาทาน วันนี้เลยอยู่บ้านพยายามอ่านหนังสือแต่นำ้ตาไหล อาบน้ำก็ตาแดง เพราะไม่สามารถปิดตาให้สนิทได้ เลยทำให้นึกถึงพระธรรม 1โครินทร์ บทที่ 14 เรื่องการเป็นกายเดียวกัน หากอวัยวะไหนป่วยอวัยวะอื่นๆก็ลำบากด้วย ทำให้คิดได้ว่าต่อให้เรามีบทบาทอย่างไรในโบสถ์ก็ให้พอใจกับบทบาทนั้นเพรสะำระเจ้าทรงให้ความสำคัญเท่ากัน

Prepare for error

Today was the the preparation day for Frankly Graham abundant life festival Chiang Mai, Thailand 2013. Our church was responsible for the registration and name tag distribution for the all counselors. It is quite a big task for there are already 3,000 registered counselors on the list, we tried our best to prepare but in reality errors always occur. Some names were missing other misspell. Confusion was in the air. You can feel the frustration of people waiting in line only to find the their names are not in the list. Thanks God all of our church members were keep their calm and kept serving.

During the rehearsal inside the stadium, I also was called as a student of Mc Gilvary to help distribute other materials and serve translating to a big group of American students. Tomorrow is the real day, and everyone expects more chaos and stress but all of that would be cause by human errors. God could forgive us and use those error to teach some of us lessons to shape us into better servants. My personal lesson is that i have to manage me time more wisely with a lot more discipline because when i fall behind my plan i easily get moody.

But for now let all works be glorify only to God alone. No time for compliant but it is a time of unity. 

If any man speak, let him speak according to the oracles of God. If any man minister, let him do it according to the ability which God giveth, that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:11

Pray before you start.

In Our introduction to the old testament today we learn about the book of Obadiah.

The previous weeks were not easy for me at all. I fell behind my study schedule and every thing are still behind as i am writing this blog entry. I even had horrible dreams that seems to be my sub-cautious screaming to motivate me. As I drowned in my worries that i could not accomplish my tasks.

For sometime now I have became a slave of fear and tried to hide this fact from myself.

I think many people do fall in the same trap as i do. We fear and we refuse to tackle our problems. As we are afraid to lost our dignity to ask others to help clean our mess.

I remember hearing a testimony 2 weeks ago from a business women. She said that in her darkest financial crisis, in the face of bankruptcy after some bank officers went to her house and put confiscate signs on every property she owned. As she returned to her office to scream at her husband, who in responses did nothing but prayed silently. She then start cursing God and while her husband begged to stop. The telephone ranged! It was a call from a company that just transferred money to them, an amount enough to clear their debt!  

I do not yet have at much faith, to face my darkest hour praying on my knees. But in this world that I know accept that i do not have any control over anything. Praying and trusting in God is the best way we could start or counter anything.

As the scripture says;

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. From Philippians 4:6-7

I will have to remind myself again and again to start my day or my actions with a prayer. 

Miss sun miss rain

After soaked by rain for many days. We finally could see a warm sunset. Took this picture while having a small walk before dinner.

Too much drying sun remind you of the cool rain but pouring rain also make the sun so miss. We human will never be satisfy but it si amazing how the qolrd that gi dhas made for use there is always a opposite that fits togather perfectly.

The little door man

This morning i was greeted by a small doorman at the dorm. I went on to take a photo of him and he wasn`t photo shy at all. Rainy season in Chiang Mai does not only sommons the army of mosquetos it also invite many amazing creatures out. It shows how amazing God is. Grasshoppers also reminds us about the seasons. It felt like cerebrating new year just a few days ago now we have pass through half of the year.

Gentle breeze

It's been a long day for me today. haven't got much sleep last night. And did not do well on the Old Testament quiz this afternoon. While waiting for the appointment with Aj. austin l sat in my car and enjoied the lovely gentle breeze of wind the passed by. It was a very special experience like you could feel god's gentleness in it.

Last weekend had the opportunity to translate this song, actually it was prepare for the church congress meeting. It the end the team didn't play it but it was such a blessing to be able to know this song.

According to a recent newspaper report, only 8 percent of British men attend church regularly, though 53 percent identify themselves as Christians.

     หนังสือพิมพ์ฉบับหนึ่งรายงานว่า มีหนุ่มอังกฤษเพียงร้อยละ 8 เท่านั้นที่ไป     มนัสการพระเจ้าที่คริสตจักรอย่างสม่ำเสมอ แม้ว่าประชากรเพศชายชาวอังกฤษร้อยละ 53 จะบอกว่าตนเป็น     คริสเตียน

And the situation is similar in other Western nations, with more than 40 percent of U.S. evangelicals not attending church weekly and more than 60 percent of American mainline Christians not attending weekly, according to Pew data. In short, millions who consider themselves Christians limit their church attendance largely to holidays, weddings and funerals.

1. Church involvement is evidence that you're a Christian in the first place. It also helps keep you from abandoning the faith. According to the author of Hebrews, the antidote to developing an "unbelieving heart" that leads you "to fall away from the living God" is to "exhort one another" (Hebrews 3:12-13) -- an activity that occurs most prominently in the church.

ข้อแรก     การไปร่วมนมัสการที่คริสตจักรนั้นเป็นการแสดงว่าคุณเป็นคริสเตียน อีกทั้งยังช่วยให้คุณไม่หลงหายไปจากความเชื่อ จากพระธรรม ฮีบรู ด้านล่าง กล่าวว่า วิธีป้องกัน “ใจบาปชั่ว ไม่ยอมเชื่อแล้วหันเหไปจากพระเจ้า” คือการ “ให้กำลังใจกัน” ซึ่งโดยส่วนมากแล้วจะเกิดขึ้นในการสามัคคีธรรมกันที่โบสถ์

2. Gathering with a church encourages believers to love others and do good deeds (Hebrews 10:24-25).

ข้อที่สอง     การสามัคคีธรรมที่คริสตจักรสงเสริมให้ผู้เชื่อรักซึ่งกันและกันและกระทำความดี

3. A church is the main venue for using your spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:1-31). God has given you abilities and talents intended to help other Christians. If you're not involved in a church, others are being deprived of what you have to offer.

4. A church helps you defend Christianity against those who attack it. When Jude told the early Christians to "contend for the faith" (Jude 3), he directed his instruction toward a group of believers, not a scattering of lone-ranger Christians. Answering challenges from coworkers, friends and family members is always easier when you can ask fellow church members for help and wisdom.

5. A church is a great venue for pooling resources to support missions and benevolent works (2 Corinthians 8:1-7;3 John 5-8). Your money combined with that of fellow church members can do a lot for Christ.

6. A church helps its members maintain correct doctrine (1 Timothy 3:15). You might begin to adopt unbiblical ideas without realizing it yourself. But you probably won't adopt unbiblical ideas without someone at your church realizing it, and they can help you get back to the truth.

7. After your family, a church is the best group of people to meet your physical needs in an emergency (1 John 3:16-17; 1 Timothy 5:3-16).

8. A church supports you when you face persecution (Acts 4:23-31; 12:12-17). You may not be imprisoned for your Christian beliefs like the apostles were, but a church family is still a great source of comfort when you face stinging words or unfair treatment.

9. A church is where you can be baptized and take part in the Lord's Supper (Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Corinthians 11:17-34; Ephesians 4:4-6). These two ordinances are a vital part of any believer's walk with Jesus.

10. A church provides the setting for corporate worship (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16). Though it's a blessing to praise God alone, there is a unique joy that accompanies singing God's praises with an entire congregation of Christ followers.

คอลทูออล คองเกรส เชียงใหม่ ทำงานเบื้องหลัง (Call2All Chiang Mai being back stage)

งาน คอลทูออล เชึยงใหม่ ผ่านไปได้ด้วยดีแล้ว ขอบพระคุณพระเจ้าที่ได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของงานนี้

The Call2All Chiang Mai congress has passed away, Thank you God for giving me the opportunity to be apart of it.

คืนแรกเป็นคืนต้อนรับทีมงานอาสาสมัครที่เกือบร้อยละ 90 เป็นฝรั่ง บรรยากาศอินเตอร์สุดๆ เสียดายที่ตัวเราเองเป็นไข้อ่อนๆเลยต้องรีบกลับก่อน

I went to the volunteer welcome night, 2 days prior the event where 90% of all volunteers were Farangs (a Thai word for all people who don't look Asia). Mark Anderson was there to welcome them himself and every one was happy. I wasn't quite use to the international atmosphere though and eventually left early due to a light fever.

เช้าวันต่อมาได้ไปร่วมนมัสการตอนเช้าซึ่งบรรยากาศก็อินเตอร์แบบสุดๆเช่นกัน วันนี้ได้เจอหัวหน้างานและทีมงานฝ่ายล่ามโดยที่แรกคาดหวังไว้ว่าจะได้ทำหน้าที่เป็นล่ามแปลอย่างเต็มตัว แต่หัวหน้างานให้เป็นผู้ช่วยประสานงานเรื่องอุปกรณ์ (เครื่องวิทยุแบบพกพา) และ ค่อยจัดคิวให้ล่ามท่านอื่น วันแรกผ่านไปไม่มีอะไรมาก เป็นการเตรียมตัวของเหล่าอาสา

The next morning i felt better and joined the morning worship which was amazing, it was very energetic and fun. Most of the morning were use for orientation how to be a good volunteer and floor plan tour. In the afternoon we finally got divided into our groups. I finally met our group leader and the other translators. First i expected to be interpreting but i was giving an assistant position and was mainly responsible for the translation equipment, interpreters queue and urgent translations.

วันที่สอง ผู้ร่วมงานเริ่มเข้ามาในงาน โดยมีผู้ร่วมงานประมาณ 1,500 ท่าน ทำให้ต้องอุทิศทั้งเช้าไปเพื่อการลงทะเบียน โดยในจำนวนนั้นมี คนจีนราว 300 ท่าน และ คนเกาหลีอีกประมาณ 150 ท่าน ซึ่งถือว่าเยอะมาก จึงต้องมีการแปลเฉพาะสำหรับสองกลุ่มคนเหล่านี้ ตัวเราเองได้รับมอบหมายให้ดูแลอุปกรณ์ดังกว่า ซึ่งก็คือ เครื่องรับสัญญาณวิทยุ FM นั้นเอง โดยทีมงานจากอเมริกามาตั้งคลื่นวิทยุของตนเองสองคลื่นโดยระยะส่งสัญญาณสั้นมากแค่พอกระจายภายในโรงประชุมเท่านั้น โดยเจ้าวิทยุนี้แหละเป็นปัญหาใหญ่ กว่าจะตั้งได้นั้นเล่นเอาเหงื่อแตก แถมกว่าจะอธิบายได้ใช้ให้เข้าใจอีก โดยเราโชคดีที่มีน้องๆทีมงานอาสาสมัครชาวจีนที่ศึกษาในไทยมาช่วยงาน

The entire morning of the second day was dedicated for registration. Around 1,500 delegates were expected to come and among that there were approximately 300 Chinese and 150 Koreans two majorities that need  translation. We distributed small FM receptors and set up 2 frequencies strong enough to cover the entire hall area. The hard part was the FM station setting and explaining how to use the receptors. We were lucky to have a team of Chinese students in Thailand to help us out.

วันที่สองสามและสี่ ไม่ค่อยมีอะไรมากนัก มีเพียงตารางที่เปลี่ยนแปลงบ้าง อารมณ์ของเพื่อนร่วมงานบ้างแต่ทั้งหมดก็เป็นบทเรียนที่พระเจ้าทรงให้เรียนรู้และทุกอย่างในงานนี้ก็เพื่อพระองค์

The later days were not that busy only some schedule adjustment which is normal for such a event and minor issues with colleges but all experience was probably a lesson from God to mold me to a better servant.   

การที่ได้อยู่ด้านหลังเวทีนั้นเป็นประสบการณ์ใหม่ ที่สนุกมากๆ ทีมงานแสงสีเสียง ทำงานภายใต้ความกดดันและไม่แน่นอนตลอดเวลา มีอารมณ์เสียบ้าง เหวี่ยงบ้าง แต่ทุกอย่างก็เพื่อให้งานดำเนินต่อไป เป็นบทเรียนในการทำงานกับฝรั่ง เวลามีปัญหาต้องพูดให้เคลียร์ไม่ว่ามันจะแรงขนาดไหน ก็ต้องให้งานดำเนินต่อไปได้ การชี้นิ้วไปให้คนอื่นไม่ได้ช่วยให้งานผ่านไป ถ้าไม่รู้ก็บอกไม่รู้ ถ้าทำไม่ได้ก็บอกไม่ได้ แต่อย่า ปฎิเสธ ก่อน ฟังให้จบแล้วค่อยอธิบาย เป็นบทเรียนที่ได้รับจากงานนี้

Being a back stage staff was something new so was serving in an international event, everything was tense and all of us were under pressure losing temper occasionally but i learn that even though how furious our co-workers, how load their voice may reach you just have to do your part and get it done. Pointing fingers and telling it's not my job is useless, listen to the person's inquiry first if you're wrong just apologize, if your not responsible just tell it and suggest them to someone else just try to solve the problem.

สรุปแล้ว งานคอลทูออลครั้งนี้มีเหล่าผู้นำใน      คริสตจักรมากมายที่ได้รับภาระใจและจะไปทำงานของพระเจ้าในด้านต่างๆ ตัวเราเองก็ขอบคุณพระเจ้าที่ได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของงานนี้ ไม่รู้ว่าจะได้มีโอกาสรับใช้ในระดับอินเตอร์อย่างนี้อีกเมื่อไร ขอบพระคุณสำหรับบทเรียนมากมายที่ได้รับ ทั้งความถ่อมใจที่เราต้องมีเพื่อถวายงาน ทั้งคำพยานจากเพื่อนร่วมงานทั้งชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติ ความเชื่อของพวกท่านยิ่งใหญ่เหลือเกิน ท่านทั้งหลายออกเดินทางตามพระเยซูไปโดยละทิ้งทุกอย่างไว้ เช่นเดียวกับเหล่าอัครสาวกจริงๆ ตัวเอาเองดีใจเหลือเกินที่ได้เป็นเม็ดทรายเล็กงานชิ้นนี้

In summary the Call2All Chiang Mai was a success many church leaders return with a burden to serve in their hearts. For me it was a blessing experience to serve in such a international event. Many lessons learnt, some i still don't understand yet, many testimonial from but foreign and Thai co-workers you guys are so awesome leaving everything to follow God like the apostles did. I am so honor to be a small sand rock in this great structure.

งาน คอนทูออล (Call2All) เชียงใหม่

แบนเนอร์ของงานคอลทูออน ที่โรงแรม โลตัสปางสวนแก้ว เชียงใหม่ ระหว่างวันที่ 21-24 พ.ค. 2556

ช่วงนี้ยุ่งมากกับการเป็นอาสาสมัครแปลเอกสารให้กับงาน คอลทูออล ที่จะจัดขึ้นที่โรงแรมปางสวนแก้วเชียงใหม่ ในอาทิตย์หน้าแล้ว งานเยอะมากและรู้สึกแปลไม่ทัน วันนี้ทีมงานฝรั่งจากอเมริกามาแล้วประชุมที่สำนักงานเลย (แต่เรายังงงอยู่เลย สงสัยไม่ชินกับการทำงานแบบฝรั่ง) วันนี้ตอนเช้าต้องเข้าไปคุยกับหัวหน้างานคนไทยที่กรุงเทพ แก้งานกันไปผ่านทางสไคพ์ กว่าจะเสร็จก็เลยเที่ยงเสียแล้ว

เพิ่งได้ทำงานแบบอาสาสมัครงานด้านแปลเอกสารเป็นครั้งแรก เป็นประสบการณ์ที่มีความสุขมากๆ บางบทความแปลไปน้ำตาจะไหลไป เหนื่อยแต่ได้ความสุขใจมากมายกับเนื้อหาที่เปี่ยมด้วยกำลังใจและความหวัง พระเจ้าได้ให้ค้นพบว่าตัวเองมีความสุขกับอะไร และอยากจะใช่ชีวิตที่เหลืออยู่กับการทำงานแบบไหน ขอบคุณพระเจ้า ขอบคุณหมอเป้ง และ หมออ้อย ที่แนะนำมา หวังว่าจะไม่ได้ทำให้ใครผิดหวังหรือเดือดร้อน ฮ่า ฮ่า ฮ่า
